Pomodoro Trattoria & Wine Bar in Wellington

Delicious, flavorful and most importantly - served hot :-) As soon as you go in you are served with a basket of bread - fresh, hot and oh so good with the garlic oil side and the balsamic vinegar and olive oil combo. We had the Chicken Marsala - a nutty undertone, light and creamy - perfect!! The pasta itself was great, the chicken however didn't absorb that flavor too much and the garlic bread had it's unique style, not my favorite kind, but not bad either.

Yesterday was our first time in this place. But It is no doubt not the last time. We enjoyed the evening a lot with the excellent service, with the exceptional dishes and fine drinks and with the modest cost. We will absolutely go back there again.

Hearty Italian food. Big portions. Gnocchi con pollo was great. Service was slow but it was a busy night.

Food was incredible. Our server helped us with favorites from the menu. We enjoyed the 2 pastas. The salad it came on top of was fresh and complimented it really well. These dishes were incredible and pasta was some of the best I've had. It was rich, so seafood bits complimented it well. I would definitely order this again.

We ordered a large Caesar salad for the 3 of us to share. It was good and so was the fresh, hot bread that it was served with. For our entrees we ordered Chicken Marsala in a cream sauce (Pollo Al Porcini), Pasta Pomodoro and Linguini with Clams. We shared tastes of each other’s entrees and all were excellent.The service was very good and the food came very quickly. The prices were very reasonable and the place had a very nice ambiance. We recommend Pomodoro Trattoria and will go back.

I liked the pescadataro which was today's special. Had mussels, clams, calamari, and lots of scallops. Kids liked the homemade gnocchi, both vodka and Bolognese. Salads, both house and Cesar, we're fresh and tasty. The portions were generous. The bread was warm and yummy. The servers were attentive and pleasant. Jimmy, who served us, was very patient in explaining each dish very well. There is no parking, but it's not unusual in Westwood. Nice ambience and good wine selection. I did not get to try the desserts, but they look good. Nice Italian in Persian area of LA.

So lucky, the place was packed when my husband and I decided last minute to come here. We thought we needed to make reservations but thankfully, since it was about 2 or 3 hours before closing time, we only had to wait less than 20 mins for a seat. Food was delicious! Love their bread so much! Calamari was not fried and it was oh so good (dip the bread in the sauce!). Gosh, I'd come back and try the rest of their menu!

They serve big portions and for fair rates. very nice owner. Fantastic work.

A low key but fantastic little trattoria. The food is fantastic, from the fresh bread to the seafood to the pasta to the gnocchi. I recommend the fiorentina

Food is okay. Very small restaurant so enjoy a nice long wait. Also, a tip, if your entire party is not present you will keep moving to the bottom of the wait list. Also, a tip, they say they close at 3 pm, which for nice restaurants means the kitchen closes at 250. But for this place, they will close the kitchen between 220 and 230. Sorry but just dont say you're open if you're not. So dumb. Get italian food somewhere else.

The best pizza I've had since I moved from the East coast. Keep up the good work.

They offer a fantastic variety of delicious food. I loved eating here. The employees are always very welcoming, prices are convenient and the place is always clean.

Great spot with tasty, well-presented food at fair cost. Good for couples and groups alike. Clear description of ingredients so you’re clear what’s coming. Good selection of wines. Recommended.

3.5 stars, good food, ok service, small restaurant so a bit noisy, great desserts

Stopped in for a bite and to catch up with a good friend. Was told the wait on a Friday night would be 25 minutes. We waited 7 minutes and her quickly seated. We ordered the eggplant appetizer and garlic bread. My friend had pasta dish with a cream sauce and spinach, and I had the bow tie pasta with goat cheese, sun dried tomatoes, and a vinaigrette. It made a delicious sauce. We both had wine. Mine was a Merlot. The place rocks. We both commented that we'd come back.. The bill was also reasonable for dinner for two with wine. Under $65..

Had dinner at this place after a show in LA. The reviews here is what drove our decision. Good choice! This is a out of the way diner that serves some of the best food I've had!! We had the chicken with pasta. Both were excellent.The chicken is actual chicken, not a processed patty. They managed to get it nice, dark and crispy, but the chicken meat was perfect and juicy. The vegetables were so good they almost stole the show!Service was very quick and nice servers.
